Eden Prairie was named by Money Magazine in 2010 and 2016 as “One of the best small cities in which to live in the United States.”
The nearby highways 212, 494, and 169, provide quick access to the Eden Prairie Shopping Center as well as direct routes to the Mall of America and the airport. Also nearby are grocery stores, medical clinics, churches, banks, theaters, parks and lakes, and the Minnesota Arboretum. Southwest Metro Transit runs buses to downtown Minneapolis, sports stadiums, the University, and by shuttle to special events such as the State Fair. Light rail will be coming in the near future.
